Jeanette Morelan, Miss America’s Outstanding Teen, Named Official Girls Know How® Book Series Ambassador

 Orlando, FL – Jeanette Morelan, Racine, WS, 2010 Miss America’s Outstanding Teen, has added another sash as an Official National Ambassador for the Girls Know How® book series. Girls Know How is a fictional series of fun, entertaining chapter books that encourage readers ages 8 to 12 to explore and pursue the careers of their dreams.

As Ambassador, Jeanette will appear at schools and libraries throughout the country to promote literacy, discuss her platform and raise awareness about career choices.

Jeannette is a sophomore in high school and active in the National Honor Society. She participates in many community service projects and studies dance. She was crowned Miss Wisconsin’s Outstanding Teen 2009 and named Miss America’s Outstanding Teen at the National Competition in Orlando last summer."Our relationship with Miss America's Outstanding Teen is an ideal match,” says Girls Know How author Ellen Langas Campbell. “Jeanette is a wonderful role model for others who want to help make a difference in today’s world.
