Beauty Of Africa International Pageant Debuts

Over the years, Beauty of Africa International, formerly known as the Face of Daniels International pageant, has produced queens who have turned out to become celebrities in the country.

This year, the organizers, Face of Daniels, in conjunction with M2 Magazine, Hotel 1960 and Spice TV, are set to do it again.

The chairman of BAIP, Mr. Akin Adeoya, describes the project as one that is aimed at assisting the less privileged in the society, promoting peace at national and international levels and one that will attract investment to the modelling industry in Africa. He says that the pageant is committed to making a landmark in the industry.

”Today, as we start this greater challenge, we can say with all assurance that we are totally committed to our promise to make BAIP the biggest and most celebrated beauty pageant in Africa,” he says.

According to the national coordinator, BAIP, Mr. Kenneth Iyoha, the screening of contestants will take place in six zones across Nigeria. The winners will take home mouth-watering packages, including a brand new car, holiday trip to South Africa, wardrobe allowances and modelling contracts.
