Recycle Dresses for Charity

A recycled dress campaign has been launched by Miss England to raise money for charity.A number of dresses have been donated to the online auction by former contestants, including the white sequined dress worn by Katrina Hodge in Miss World 2009 and the handmade royal blue dress worn by Alize Mounter at the final of Miss World 2011.Reigning Miss England Alize Mounter stated, “We all know our world is under constant threat because of the damage we are all doing to the environment. Something as basic as recycling our dresses is key to creating a better world for our children’s future.”The auction runs until the 30th May 2012 with all proceeds going towards the Beauty with a Purpose charity which raises funds for underprivileged children around the world.http://www.beautywithapurpose.com/Further details can be found here.http://www.missengland.info/recycle
