For the second consecutive year, the Miss Universe Organization will allow fans to vote online for their favorite contestant. The pre-pageant fan vote begins May 1 through June 2 and will grant one of the 51 contestants automatic entrance into the semifinals.
The winner of the fan vote will be announced during the LIVE telecast, which takes place on Sunday, June 3 at 9 p.m. E.T. on NBC from the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Fans can vote in three ways:
*Website: Fans with registered email addresses can visit or to vote.
*Facebook: Fans need to like The Official Miss USA Facebook Page and can then vote by clicking the ‘vote’ button next to their favorite contestant. Twitter: Fans with Twitter accounts can vote using a vote-tallying application. Fans can either click the Twitter button below the ‘vote’ button on the contestant page on the Miss
*USA website, or they can click the Twitter link provided on each contestant’s profile page.
Anyone located in, and a legal resident of, the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico can cast their vote. Each person can vote up to 10 times per day from his or her email account, Facebook profile or Twitter username. Last year, Miss New Mexico USA 2011, Brittany Toll, won the Fan Vote advancing straight to the Top 16.
