Miss America 2012 Laura Kaeppeler Honors Our TroopsWith Spectacular Events To Celebrate Memorial Day Weekend in Wildwood, NJ and Washington, D.C.

Miss America 2012 Laura Kaeppeler is off to a spectacular Memorial Day Weekend, honoring our military and our Heroes at Home.
The festivities begin today as Laura kicks off the weekend by the "Unlocking of the Ocean" ceremony in Wildwood, New Jersey.   On Sunday evening, Laura will participate in the Celebration of Heroes Concert, an event in Wildwood that will honor the men and women who serve our country in the military along with our first responders. The event will also feature former SNL star Joe Piscopo and his 17-piece Orchestra; Grammy Winner Lee Greenwood; Michael Longoria, original cast member (Frankie Valli) of the hit Broadway Show The Jersey Boys; and American Idol finalists Michael Sarver and Haley Scarnato at the Wildwoods Convention Center’s Oceanfront Arena.  Click here for more information!

Tune in to Fox & Friends on Monday, in the 7:00 a.m. hour on Fox News Channel to watch Laura discuss her participation in the National Memorial Day Parade.
Following Miss America’s appearance on FOX & Friends, Laura will participate in the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington, D.C.   Laura will ride atop the USA Cares float with one of our proud veterans, Bryan Anderson to promote USA Cares which is an organization that exists to help bear the burdens of service by providing post-9/11 military families with financial and advocacy support in their time of need. 
Miss America is one of the many celebrities who will participate in this annual event that includes American Idol winner, Kris Allen, actor Gary Sinise and Tony award-winning Joe Mantegna along with legendary astronaut, Buzz Aldrin.   They will come together to proudly show their patriotic spirit and help honor those who have sacrificed so much in service to our country.
