A busy schedule begins this evening where she will be attending the first ever NBA preseason game to be held in the Philippines. Part of the league’s NBA Global Games Schedule, the Houston Rockets play the Indiana Pacers at 7:30pm local time, and Miss World will be making the ceremonial toss of the basketball during the game!
Tomorrow afternoon a Ticker Tape Parade will take place along Ayala Avenue in Makati City, followed by a meet and greet session for all of Miss World’s Fans at the SM Mall of Asia!
Miss World will also be making a courtesy call on the President of the Philippines Benigno Aquino III sometime during her return!
Megan will return to her hometown of Olongapo City on the 12th October where another parade in her honour will welcome her home. Megan will be met by the Mayor Rolen Paulino, who will be presenting her with a ceremonial key to the city.
These are just a few of the highlights of the coming week, with trips to various charitable causes in the name of 'Beauty with a Purpose' planned, interviews and sessions with the top television and print media across the country and of course some well earned victory parties!
