Miss America Makes A Special Visit To Orlando for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

There She Is.. Miss America 2014 Nina Davuluri

Miss America 2014 Nina Davuluri visited sunny Orlando, Florida to bring rays of hope to the children of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. On Tuesday, she toured the Arnold Palmer Hospital where she met with Miss America's Outstanding Teen Leah Sykes who played guitar and sang along with the children.

That afternoon, Miss America appeared on a local radio station to participate in Mix 105.1 Loves Our Kids Radiothon, a Children's Miracle Network Hospital event benefiting Greater Orlando Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. She interviewed and spoke to the listeners on the air emphasizing the importance of supporting CMNH to help provide better health care for children.

At the end of her day, Nina made visits to partners such as Costco, Marriot Vacations Worldwide, IHop and Walmart speaking on behalf of the children and raising awareness for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

Wednesday, she participated in the telethon by answering phones and conducting interviews. Later, she toured the NICU in the Winnie Palmer Hospital where she presented the check from the telethon.
On behalf of the Miss America Organization we applaud the efforts of those who contributed to the success of the telethon and all of the events across the country that support Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
