It's very rare when celebrities accept having gone under the knife and former Miss USA Shanna Moakler is one such celebrity who has not shied away from accepting it. The former beauty queen allowed cameras to film her undergoing liposuction to remove fat from her stomach, arms and chin.

On a video which aired on Entertainment Tonight, Moakler, former Playboy Playmate of the Month said getting rid of excess belly fat had started to bother her following the birth of her three children. 'I have a C-scar, it's a bikini cut, and I kind of just had a little pooch that was over it that I could never get back to where I wanted,' she said.

To deal with the issue of removing belly fat Moakler opted to try out a new surgery called Airbrush Laser Liposculpture, a $6,000-plus simple in-office procedure that involves no needles and stitches. It involves a 2mm device that makes tiny circular holes in the skin. After the fat is numbed, a laser melts it and tightens the skin. The excess fat is then removed by a tool patented by a Beverly Hills Surgeon.

Shanna appeared confident as she posed topless next to a swimming pool in a video post the surgery. 'The process for me was super easy,' said Shanna. 'It took about two days [of recovery] and I was back at work.'

Shanna who is no stranger to plastic surgery further added, 'I feel so much better since having this done. My clothes fit better, I'm more confident in a bikini, I'm really happy and super pleased.'

Shanna found fame as Miss USA in 1995. She was initially named first runner-up, but was crowned Miss USA when winner Chelsi Smith snagged the Miss Universe title. Currently, Moakler serves as the executive producer of the Miss Nevada USA state pageant.
