Miss America celebrates a super weekend with the NFL

Throughout the weekend, Miss America 2014 Nina Davuluri attended various events on behalf of the Taste of the NFL. Nina kicked off the weekend by attending the Friday Night Huddle Reception hosted at the Marriott Brooklyn Bridge Hotel in Brooklyn, NY. This private event was a way for the VIP guests to spend a casual evening together before the following day's big event, the 23rd Annual Taste of the NFL's "Party with a Purpose!"

On Saturday, Nina had the honor of co-hosting alongside Ted Allen of "Chopped" and Andrew Zimmern of "Bizarre Foods" at the "Party with a Purpose!" event. The evening began with a cruise on a hybrid Yacht around the South End of Manhattan and Ellis Island before arriving at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal for the party. Throughout the evening, Nina embraced the opportunity to mingle with guests, announce silent auction winners and conduct media interviews.

On behalf of the Taste of the NFL, Nina conducted several interviews throughout the weekend including those with Workaholics and the Jaime Foxx Radio show on SIRIUS XM, "Geraldo" on KABC-AM, USAToday.com, WENJ-FM of Atlantic City, and CBS Sports.
Footage of Nina's crowning moment in Atlantic City was also shown in "All Things New Jersey", a program that aired on the NFL Network on game day (click here).

Nina wrapped up the big weekend on Sunday by attending the Super Bowl at MetLife Stadium as a special guest of the Spanos Family, owners of the San Diego Chargers - there she enjoyed the game with Miss America Board Members Lynn Weidner, Gloria Fine and Sue Lowden.
