Delila Softic Crowned Miss World Sport 2014

Delila Softic of Bosnia & Herzegovina was crowned Miss World Sport 2014 at the conclusion of the first ever event held in Sochi, Russia. The beauty pageant was held by the Olympic organizing committee within the framework of the Olympic Games 2014, which has just concluded.

Delila’s court includes the first runner-up Huong Pham of Vietnam, the second runner-up Marharyta Banet of Belarus.
Representatives from nearly 20 countries competed for the title. They are from Armenia, Belarus, Hungary, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Serbia Ukraine, Montenegro, Sweden, Russia, Kazakhstan, Czech Republic, South Korea, Nigeria, Latvia, Germany, Mongolia, Lithuania, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Vietnam.
Contestants are those who have a passion for sports and can play any sports. They may be professional athletes or members of Olympic teams. However, they they must win prizes at beauty contests in their countries.
During the pageant, contestants competed in sportswear and evening gown designed by Russian and world famous designers. They also competed in aerobic sports and modern dance…
The jury members then selected three contestants with healthy and dynamic beauty, team spirit and sports enthusiasts. They practiced sports, lived in the Olympic Village within 10 days.
